Talk to me about shipping
Items ship via United States Postal Service via First Class Mail. You may choose to upgrade to Priority Mail with insurance. First Class postal service typically takes 3-5 days domestically and Priority Mail will arrive in 1-3 days.
What’s the scoop on insurance?
Priority Mail includes insurance on items up to $50 on domestic orders and up to $200 on International orders. Insurance for orders over this amount can be purchased at cost. I use U-Pic to secure private insurance.
What sort of time frame should I expect for commissions and made to order items?
How long with it take to receive my order? For items that are Ready to Ship orders will be processed once payment is received and posted the next business day. First Class postal service typically takes 3-5 days domestically and Priority Mail will arrive in 1-3 days.
For Made to Order items production time will vary, but generally, once I have all the details ironed out with you and the supplies in hand, I take 2-4 weeks to finish your item and will notify you once it is completed and provide you with shipping notification.
More about Commissions
Interested in working with me to create something unique? I’m always intrigued and excited to listen to your ideas for a meaningful piece. A non-refundable 50% deposit can be paid for with this listing and will reserve your commission and will pay for the time and supplies to develop your project. Once received, I will contact you to discuss your project and draft a contract detailing the scope of the work, the timeframe, and price for us both to sign. Then the creative bloom will begin! Ill survey you to get the inspiration and feel for the piece.
The time it takes from initial payment to delivery of your item will vary but, generally, will take a month. During the process, you will have three opportunities to have input on the piece. Once its approved and finished final payment can be made and I will prepare it for shipment. Buyers will pay actual shipping cost (overages will be refunded) for USPS shipping with appropriate insurance.
Once you make the final payment, the piece is yours. Please note, though as this is a printed piece of artwork, I maintain the ability to make a limited run of reproductions of the art for sale and to use it in marketing purposes (Facebook, Instagram, website, etc.).
